Blaney Harper’s practice focuses on representing electronics, software, and information technology companies in strategic patent litigation, including patent portfolio evaluation and enforcement, in United States District Courts, the International Trade Commission (ITC), and before the USPTO.
Vishal Khatri’s practice focuses on intellectual property law, including representing clients in patent litigation matters before U.S. district courts and the United States International Trade Commission (ITC). He also counsels clients in developing and maintaining their strategic, international intellectual property portfolios and preparing their portfolios for litigation.
Dr. Alex Li joined our New Lawyers Group (NLG) in 2018. The NLG provides our newest lawyers with the opportunity to gain exposure to different practice areas and lawyering styles before making a commitment to a specific practice. Dave Maiorana is a trial lawyer with a notable combination of significant experience as a USPTO examiner along with 20 years litigating complex intellectual property matters. He has represented clients as both plaintiffs and defendants around the country and in the ITC. Dave has experience in diverse technology areas, including teeth whitening, diapers, fem care products, self-inflating tires, oxygen concentrators, flash memory, and digital cameras.
Ryan McCrum’s practice is in the area of intellectual property, focusing primarily on patent infringement litigation and counseling. He has extensive experience representing clients in U.S. district and appellate courts as well as before the International Trade Commission. In 2013, Ryan was named a “Rising Star” by IPLaw360, a recognition that was awarded to only nine IP lawyers throughout the country.
Garfield Simms’ litigation practice focuses on complex technologies involving digital imaging, digital cameras, electronic sensors, electronic commerce, data caching, bar code readers, and power management systems in electronic devices. In addition, he has prosecuted trademark and patent applications and counseled clients regarding intellectual property rights for semiconductor devices and processes, internet security systems, medical diagnostic equipment, electromechanical and mechanical devices, biometric identification systems, and electronic circuits.
